Ravebugs Blog Post 27/9/21 Hello Drummers! It’s been another busy week here at Ravebugs HQ, with loads of lessons and gigs. After the last year and a half, it’s still amazing to be able to see people face to face! Of course, this week there have been disruptions of a different kind, with the shortage of petrol. How have things been for you? We’ve managed ok here at Ravebugs, we’re very glad to have moved over to an electric car earlier in the year. Well, whichever way you look at it, from this week on it’s definitely Autumn now! I think Spring is my favourite season, you have all of Summer to look forward to, but there is something very appealing about Autumn, the crisp mornings, beautiful countryside and the cosy evenings. As a gigging musician as well as drum teacher, Autumn nights are great for gigs. The evenings aren’t yet too cold to put people off going out, and it’s much cooler to play in the venue than it is on a hot summer night! Here we are in the second week of the school term, and both our little drummers are settling back in well to their routines. Drum lessons are keeping me busy this week, plus I have a gig to think about at the weekend, videos to make, and practice to do.
